Carbon Salon (“we”, “us”) is a hair and lash salon at 600 Longs Peak Ave, Unit C-D, Longmont, CO 80501. This policy explains what we collect when you book, visit, call or text us, and how we use it.
What we collect
- Your name, mobile number and email address.
- Your appointments: services, stylists, dates and times, and notes you or our staff add.
- Payment details for your visit. Card numbers are handled by our payment processor; we keep only the card type and last four digits.
- Messages you text us and records of calls to our salon line.
- Basic website analytics and advertising cookies on www.carbon.salon.
How we use it
- To book, confirm, remind you of, move and cancel your appointments.
- To take payment and apply our cancellation policy.
- To answer your texts and calls. Our salon line and text number may be answered by an automated assistant, and calls may be recorded and transcribed so we can handle your request.
- To keep a waitlist you ask to join.
Who we share it with
We share your information only with service providers that run our salon’s systems for us: our booking and scheduling software, our text-message and phone providers, our payment processor, and the AI service that powers our automated assistant. They may use it only to provide those services to us. We do not sell your personal information.
Text messages (SMS)
If you agree to receive text messages from Carbon Salon, we text you about your appointments. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or STOP to opt out at any time. See our Text Messaging Terms: https://www.carbon.salon/sms-terms/
We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
How long we keep it
We keep your client record while you are a client and as long as the law requires for payment and tax records. Text conversations with our automated assistant are deleted 30 days after the conversation ends.
Your choices
- Reply STOP to any text to stop texts from us, or tell us in your own words by text, on a call or in our online chat. Reply START to get them again.
- Ask us to see, correct or delete your information: call 303-848-4188 or email appointments@carbon.salon.
Security
We use providers that protect your information with encryption and access controls. No system is perfectly secure, so please contact us if you think your information has been misused.
Children
Our booking and text messages are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date above.
